Not receiving entire text message

I'm running MightyRom4.0 and everytime I get a text message from a verizon user that is two text messages long I never receive the second part of it. Is there some regedit I'm supposed to do? I'm on Sprint and I already did the regedit for making my text messages 160 instead of 140 for telus users. Please help!

Try undoing that reg edit you did, and see if that caused the problem.

Do you get a second text with "Preceding message was modified to comply with this handset. Media objects were removed"?

No, I dont' get a second message saying anything at all. Also, this was a problem before I even did the regedit. Anyone have any more ideas? It's still happening...

Re: Not receiving entire text message

I was just talking to someone about their Verizon phone and from what I get is that Verizon itself is the problem. On the Verizon network you can send multiple texts only to Verizon customers, if the same text goes out to any other network, the text only goes in the 160 limit. So the person is either gonna have to keep track of the 160 limit or not send them, LOL! I was running into the same problem when I got half a message and my firned called Verizon to check what was going on. I dont understand why they told her the limit outside their network is 160 but I guess they can do whatever they want.
