For those of you NOT using TF3d..

If you're not fond of TF3d, what are you using (if anything) for your today screen? Why do you like it?

I have my settings on small font, and my today screen is all squished up at the top. I want something that takes up the whole screen, looks nice and clean. I'd like a mail count, sms count - a clock with date, my next few appointments, weather, the ability to search from that screen (windows live or google - whatever, customizable?)

So what's your fav?

Thx, Suz

Re: For those of you NOT using TF3d..

Thats a great question!!
I installed the HTC Home for VGA and I like aspects of it. I realized why the TFlo3D is better.

I really just dislike WM GUI when it comes to fingers. But I will never give up my keyboard or SD slot so screw the IPhone.

I just keep hoping somone will come out with some good mods to the TFlo and make it more useful.
Currently there is a version in the PPC Kitchen that removes the sprint screens and adds a calendar screen.

I cant get any of my roms from the kitchen to run as well as NueRomS.

I am using the launcher from WKTask a lot and have ditched the HTC task manager. I like things about HTC's but now that I have learned the details of WKTask I will never go back.

Re: For those of you NOT using TF3d..

I have been a bit anxious to try something new with my touchpro since it hardware-wise, its a beast compared to the Mogul. Currently, I have the best of both worlds...utilizing SecondToday to keep SPB Insight, Metrix and SPB weather in play. I tried to run SPB mobile shell withing SecondToday...yeah...didn't work. SPB Plus, however, does work...in secondtoday. Hope this helps...oh...running SPB Mobile shell instead of TouchFlo 3D...a dream...everything worked so smoothly. It actually has the features you're looking for...but theme's wise its not so good yet since most SPB themes are still QVGA.

My latest ROM, pocoROM, doesn't include TF3D and has Pocket Digital Clock installed. If you don't like/need TF3D, check out pocoROM -- it's fast with lots of memory.

I'm coming from a Mogul, and just can't get used to TF3D. I will try your rom.

I opt for the calendar focused approach - TodayAgenda synced with my Google Calendar via www.nuevasync.com

Re: For those of you NOT using TF3d..

I'm rolling old school with WeatherPanel, Ultimate Launch, Today Agenda and ElecontDialer.

WeatherPanel is in my Today along with UL. I use four tabs in UL. This setup leaves Weather Panel on all four screens, and then I have one tab for with Messaging and Today Agenda, one with ElecontDialer, one with Utils and one with Programs. A simple flick takes me from one screen to the next. This is still a work in progress as I've only had a WM phone for about two weeks, but it works well for me so far.
