How to change to PCM keyboard

So I'm trying my darndest to get this stupid PCM keyboard to work. I've installed it and soft reset and when I go to input devices in settings and try to change to it in the drop down it doesn't work. When I go back to input devices its set back to full Querty. I believe I read here somewhere you need TF3D turned off to do it which I did before installing but still no go.

When I do change the input to PocketCM keyboard and immediately click on options I get the error "PocketCM keyboard has to be the current SIP in order to configure it."

Do you know what I'm doing wrong?

Do a search in the forum for "MRHawaii" or Hawaii. He has alot of knowledge of the PCM keyboard and has great customized keyboards based off of this. He also has instructions on how to get it working properly. Good luck.

Hey thanks for the kind words.

I believe the issue the OP was running into is in post #54 in that thread.

Here is the newest version of my skin v.3.

Re: How to change to PCM keyboard

Below is the instructions but I don't see a SIP ICON anywhere. Is this while in the Input icon in settings?

Re: LG Incite Keyboard
Sorry I should have explained better. PCM has to be your current selected SIP to adjust it. So press the SIP icon on the bottom middle of your screen. Then press the arrow to the right of it to bring up a list of your SIP methods. Then select PCM, it may be on the next page marked "Other Input Methods". Then you can press the options button and select the skin and layout. Hope you all like it!"

Re: How to change to PCM keyboard

Ok, got it working. I clicked on the arrow beside the keyboard symbol at the bottom where you always click to expand the keyboard. From there I added "other input device" and it worked. Weee this is great and your black skin is awesome. No pun intended.
