Roaming/Texting problem
 

I Keep getting network failure error when i send text yet they still send and if i press yes to send again it keeps sending it. How do i fix this it only happens while roaming.
I know there was something like this already posted but i searched for it and couldn't find it

depending on what network you are roaming on depends on if texting will work properly or not. all service providers have multiple roaming contracts so with current carriers an other are only roaming providers, meaning they have no active customers just roaming contracts. try putting the phone into roaming only and powercycling the phone. other wise the is no guarantee with texting while roaming.

A lot of it depends on the carriers agreements with roaming partners. Some roaming partners may only provide voice to Sprint, while others will give voice / text / and data. It really just depends on the agreement.

Well I'm on sprint and I am roaming to verizon. I know they allow texting while roaming. Also, the text goes through, I just get an error asking to retry. I just want the darn error to go away!

call sprint tech supp, try a PRL update, this updates the list of roaming partners for your phone to use while you....roam

I have the same problem. I guess I'll try a PRL update when I'm not too lazy.
