I love my Diamond. I got it because I didn't want anything to do with an iPhone or that general herd. I don't want my Diamond to look like an iPhone.
That's just me though... I understand everyone has their own thing.

Because maybe they don't want AT&T? AT&T has little 3G coverage compared to Sprint/Verizon (maybe Alltel, I haven't looked into them).
Personally I like the iPhone but would never switch to AT&T...plans are expensive and coverage isn't great...I think the worst part for AT&T (not really their fault) is they can't roam on Sprint/Verizon/Alltel towers.
