"Tap and Hold" not working (now working)

My "Tap and Hold" (right-click) functionality has stopped working within Outlook Mobile. Last week I was able to save attachments by tapping and holding the attachment link and using the Save function from the context menu. When I tried to save a couple of attachments today, it's telling me "Unrecognized file type. Tap and hold...."

I've verified that "Tap and Hold" works within other applications, so it seems to be an issue specifically within Outlook Mobile. I haven't done anything crazy with the phone within the last week or two and I haven't been able to find a setting anywhere that modifies "Tap and Hold" functionality.

Has anyone else experienced this issue (either in Outlook or another mobile app)? Does anyone know if there's a setting somewhere that adjusts the functionality of "Tap and Hold"?

Are you running a stock or custom rom?

Sorry - should have mentioned it in my original post. I'm running Old Man Jenkins custom ROM 1.09 v5

Re: "Tap and Hold" not working

Okay - maybe it's just me, or it's the functionality of the application. I was playing with it a little more today and realized that if the keyboard (or any other input mechanism) is enabled/displayed, I can "tap and hold" attachments in Outlook Mobile and select "Save as" from the context menu.

Maybe I was doing the same thing last week while saving attachments and didn't realize it. Could someone else in the forum please verify on their Diamond that this is the correct functionality of the application and it isn't just me losing my mind?

I can confirm this behavior on my Diamond. If the SIP is open, a tap and hold of the attachment will offer the Save As option. With the SIP closed, a tap and hold is actually only a tap and will open the attachment in the corresponding application.

Thanks Rainfreak for confirming that I'm only partially crazy ;)

No problem, though I am not in any way confirming your level of sanity. You may very well be off your rocker... but Pocket Outlook does act the way that I described above, per your question.
