Sprint picture mail interface on a custom rom?

I know there have been requests for the print picture mail cab and i have found the links to the sprint powerdeck update. i also pulled the cab from my OEM sprint rom and installed it. My only issue is that when i actually go to send a pic mail, i get the regular email interface and i can only send to email accounts. on the OEM sprint rom the interface looks much nicer and it lets me select phone #s to send to. Did i miss something or pull the wrong cab? is there something else i should be looking for?

the picturemail interface should look like the pic i attached, on the original ROM, or on a custom ROM.

if yours doesn't, maybe uninstall/reinstall. be sure to do a soft reset after installing, even if it doesn't prompt you to. the cab from the sprint powerdeck site should work fine on most ROMs.

edit: forgot to add - after intall/soft reset, go to the picturemail app, choose menu/new mail and the phone will configure itself to use picture mail.

How are you trying to send the picture? You can't do it from the messaging screen. The easiest way is to go to "Pictures and Videos" and select the photo you want to send. Then hit "menu" and there will be an option for Send Picture Mail. hen you will get the PM interface.
