Seidio Headsets for Diamond

I'm considering one of the Seidio headset options for my Sprint Diamond. Looking for feedback/reviews from anyone who has used either.

The first is their Audio/Mic Adapter (mini USB to 3.5mm)

This one would allow me to plug in my existing isolating earbuds into the Diamond. But, the mic seems like it will be way too far down, right near the phone. The description does NOT say it has a retractable cord. So, that would put the mic about 1 inch from the phone.


The second is their Retractable Isolator Headset

This one has a retractable cord below the mic so it looks like it's mic is a lot closer to the earbuds (or at least a lot farther up from the phone itself).
