Modify the "multi" adapter

Ok so im tired of having that big *** attachment when i want to listen to music.

Has anyone seen or heard of a way to "chop" it up so i can only use the headphone jack.

I was looking into just buying the ones online but after reading around a while ago i vaguely remember people rating them porely...maybe there is some new and improved option i havent heard about? anyone?

thanks ahead.

Re: Modify the "multi" adapter

you want to cut it in half? you can just plug the usb headphones into the usb port... there's thinner dongles on ebay though. you can't "chop" it in half, because there's a circuit board inside.

Actualy he can cut the wire lengths down and their isnt a circuit board thats an atenna for the radio. I wired a set of the bose headphones on mine because I cant stand the ear buds. It does drain the batt tho.

you cant get rid of the board/attenna as thats what the phone sees. If you remove it you will get the same error you get when your headphones are not plugged in. Not to mention if you could bypass that you would not even get a signal as thats an attenna.

Now if you dont care about the fm which is enabled on the diamond and soon to be on the pro then wack it off. I have not tried this so dont know if it will stoll produce audio phone just for music might need somoething from the board. It looks to me like just an attenna as ive had it apart.
