Skyfire web brower 3G/EVDO problem

Hello all.

I'm sure some of you have tried the newly updated Skyfire browser on the HTC Diamond.

I'm have a Telus HTC Diamond, so I'm using their EVDO network most of the time.

When I try to use Skyfire on EVDO, it gets stuck in "Locating..." step at the start up, and won't work. However, on wifi, it works as advertised. I'm guessing it won't work on 3G either.

Does anyone have similar problems as this, and does anyone have a remedy to this?

Thanks.

Re: Skyfire web brower 3G/EVDO problem

Same here, I'm using the latest version and only once did it get stuck at the 'locating' screen. I did notice however that once I am surfing I can only click on two or three links before it stop responding to my clicks. It looks like it wants to load the page but just sits there and the red progress bar does not move. Skyfire is ok but it still needs a lot of work.

There is a Skyfire discussion in the Software Forum. Don't know why this was posted in the Upgrades Forum either...hmmmm.
