Re: Two Cameras?
The Euro GSM version had two cameras, the 3.2 one and a vga camera, where the Sprint logo is now. Sprint in its infinate wisdom only wanted one. They also wanted a burgundy back?

Re: Two Cameras?
well, considering no us carrier supports video calling.... it would be kind of pointless for them to design a cdma device that has a vga camera in the front also. have you seen any cdma model with a camera on the front? every cdma carrier that has the touch pro has the same model, not just sprint.. well, besides the vzw model, but that one sucks and doesn't count.

Re: Two Cameras?
Hi, I'm Erin, a Sprint-Nextel techsupport rep. There is no camera by the earpiece on the front of the HTC Touch Diamond. The camera is on the back of the phone. You can see diagrams, including the earpiece on the front and the camera on the back, on pages 12 and 13 of the HTC Touch Diamond User Guide. If you have any further questions, I would be happy to assist you.

Re: Two Cameras?
Firstly, I love this thread, it makes reading forums worth all the time.
As for this... I hope you were kidding. Sprint has nothing to do with the Hardware side of things, it's all HTC. GSM gets a front camera because they have video calling, CDMA doesn't, it's pretty simple reasoning why they wouldn't put it on there. ...Some people forget that sprint isn't the only CDMA carrier on earth and that phones are made just for them |
