TouchFlo 3D or not?

I was wondering how many people are using the TouchFlo 3D interface or a different one like Wisbar Advanced Desktop or SPB?

Re: TouchFlo 3D or not?

I tried my best to make TF3D work for me for about a month and it just isn't there. Inconsistent interface, slow, bloated, buggy and hard to customize. A today screen with good plug ins is much more snappy and productive.

Re: TouchFlo 3D or not?

I love the look of TF3D but like many others, just find it not as intuitive as it is eye catching. I'm using SPB Mobile Shell now.

Re: TouchFlo 3D or not?

I was using SPB Mobile on my Touch quite a while ago and then after running the Manilla2D there I was hooked...

Naturally once I upgraded to my Diamond I stuck with the TF3D interface...

SPB Mobile is definitely slick but so far I am happy with the stock interface...

I am curious... What are the common complaints aside from responsiveness?

(I am removing this as a complaint because the right custom ROM can fix that issue...)

Re: TouchFlo 3D or not?

TF3D isn't too customizable for my taste, so I use SPB. Both UI's are great, just depends what your goin for.

Re: TouchFlo 3D or not?

i love tf3d and its animations..
but its the thought that theres an underlying operating system under that visade that makes me think i have "other options".. other options like, disabling it and going "today screen".

its like windows 95 over dos

i like it, but i dont think i'll be using it in the long run.
like the iphone, storm, or nokia phones.. they all have a predominant os that cant be changed, nor does the user have the option TO change it. so theyre mentally stuck to accepting this os.

we on the other hand know it can be changed, and just by that thought makes most of us wanna change it even if it is functional.

talking deep, nevermind me.
