Ok, so supposedly street view is available for wm6 in the new google map update, but it will only try to install via java, not .cab and just hangs forever. what gives?

Downloaded and installed fine on mine earlier today ... now it's built into grooveROM. It is really neat!

If you use opera will it will try to install java...Use IE to install Cab. I am sure your probably on a custom ROM..I am on juicies 3.9. All i did was install the new google maps , and then reinstalled to remove old cab built into Rom..Now i can use the new version with any shortcuts previously made and street view is great. But not as advanced as computer..You cant just zoom down the street..It just shows you whatever you select. But cool!

I haven't installed it yet and since you posted this, I think I will hold off, because I still use TF3D. Thanks for the "heads up."

Well it is possible it might have something to do with what rom your using. I wa using the lastes juicy rom reflashed with a new rom groov that had it build in and have no issues running it now. Im not a fan of groov roms so went back to juicy and will waite and see what other say about running it.

If I had a dollar for every time ive flashed a rom id be rich. Oh waite I am rich so id be richer.

Re: Street View on Diamond now!

just installed it with juicy 2.5 and tf3d doesn't hang but I should have uninstalled the other version before because it seems to mess up the shortcuts....it's easily fixed though
