Re: Create .lnk Shortcuts - Very Easy

I can't get PimBackup to show up in the Programs menu. I don't want it when I select just the Start button - I just want it listed when I select Programs. I'd swear I've done this before, but it seems I've copied a shortcut to all the directories I think of it needing to be, but it doesn't show up

Well with Resco
1. First you navigate to the .exe (I think PPCPIMBACKUP.exe in Device\Windows) and highlight it and select "copy" (not copy to)
2. Next navigate to Device\windows\start menu\programs...... while in the "programs" folder press the stylus and there will be an option "paste shortcut"

With Activesync
1. Open in activesync on your PC navigate to the .exe on your phone and right click..."Create shortcut"
2. Drag it onto PC navigate through AS to the Device\windows\start menu\programs Folder and drag it in (you could also move it any other way to put it in that folder)

There are a few other ways as well.

Open PIMBackup and click OPTIONS (lower right softkey) and then CREATE SHORTCUT and it'll be in your start menu and programs in TF3D.
