Known Diamond issues?

Sprint is sending me a Diamond because my touch pro is having so many issues. Are the diamonds having the same issues. Here are some


Battery (like 2 hours talk time)
Overheating
Sluggish perfomance during light use?

I can fry an egg on my diamond when it's 'toasty.' Seriously though, it does get significantly hotter than I feel comfortable with often.

Battery seems a bit over zealous because if it really dies that quick, that is a problem.

Sluggish performance? Custom ROMs should do the trick if necessary. The diamond should run faster due to having fewer components to interact with.

so there is still a problem with the diamond over heating? i wonder why there are so many available over the touch pro. i know the touch pro was having other issues as well that were causing everyone and their mom to return or exchange. i just dont want another bad phone. I am ready to give up and get a blackberry. i had probs with those but at least it wasnt this bad.

Lol. Yeah but my TP and apparently alot more have been having bad overheating and batteries not charging. also the silver lining around the phone just chips and cracks under normal use. the phone battery cover clicks when pressed down and it has this cheap plastic feel to it. my overall experience with the phone is about a 6/10. I hope they are fixing it because no warehouse in america is shipping them out anymore. they are on backorder until they fix the problems. For the time being I will be with a touch diamond. From just holding it at the store it seems to be built better.

I've had two diamonds and no problems with overheating, or any other problem for that matter. I returned a pro because the headset was messed up/crappy feel.

No sluggishness and both work perfectly
