Exclamation Asurion Replacement - What do I actually have to return?

The vibrate on the Diamond is buzzing weird like something is a bit loose, so I just ordered a replacement. They said that I have to send it back to them when I have to receive my new phone or they will charge me $200. So two questions.

1. What do I actually have to send back? Can I keep everything like the battery cover and the styluses (styli?) and all the accessories? And just return the bare phone? Any body that works for Sprint that knows exactly?

2. Should I keep the phone and try to sell it if its possible to get more than $200 out of it? (checked the forum and it seems like there actually going for less huh?)

On the returns I have done in the past, they want everything, phone, cover, battery, stylus, etc....
I believe the paperwork says your responsible for returning everything, subject to being charged full price for the phone.

I have heard people keeping the battery before, but the way I look at it, I can buy a whole bunch of batteries (and covers) for 400.00.

Anybody else do any returns? What did you guys send in?

Anyone that worked in that field before that has a answer that "Asurion" actually goes by?

I had to replace my mogul and the replacement did not have a battery.
All I had to replace was the phone.

Did they send you a new one in the mail or did you do it at the Sprint place or something? How did you not get a battery?

Whatever they send to you new, send the old back to them. 1 to 1 swap.

Re: Asurion Replacement - What do I actually have to return?

Well I got the replacement today... and the return kit is just a small brown envelope for just the phone. On the instructions it says to put the phone along with the battery in there. I guess that's just what all do. Thanks everyone.

I know I'm some years late but just incase anyone else use Google for this question (LIKE ME in 2010), "What to send back to Asurion, the envelope to send it back states "DEVICE ONLY, Wireless Phone: Do Not Return Batteries and Chargers..." So YES you can keep the battery.
