How to make a password for WMWIFIROUTER

I've been using WMWifiRouter and It's been great but I have one problem. How do you put a password on your hotspot? I've tried doing this under the wifi options in the settings but everytime I load that connection with the password, my laptop doesnt receive any connection even though it's clearly connected.

Thanks in advance

Re: How to make a password for WMWIFIROUTER

when you say "password" do you mean wep key? f so, i would go to wmwifirouter's settings and choose a wep key, then from the laptop double click one of your wireless connection icons on the taskbar.Click the tab (wireless networks) locate WMWifiRouter and right click and press delete. After you delete the WMWifiRouter connection from your laptop, reestablish it by searching for connections again. you will be prompted for a wireless connection and from there ull b al set!

What version are you using?

Version 1.25 (which you will have to purchase a license key) make setup a breeze including securing the network, well worth the $$....I use it every day
