Bluetooth Problems

hey guys,
is it just me or what? my bluetooth turns itself off randomly after a call or before placing calls.

it is not my bluetooth headset because this my second one, and it still is occuring.

I have read here and there that a few people are having the same issue.

for instance, i finish a call. then i try to place another call then the bluetooth on the phone turns itself off. it happens randomly and i don't know why.

using OEM ROM from the factory. this is a Sprint Branded HTC Diamond.

Re: Bluetooth Problems

What apps have you installed? Do you happen to be using S2U2? If so, make sure that "Don't Suspend Power" = On. This is a known issue with S2U2 (search).

If you are not using S2U2, then look for some other app you installed that suspends the device before the native OS does.

If you are using a completely native/clean phone w/o any added apps, then I'd try a hard reset.

Good luck.

Re: Bluetooth Problems

Yes, I saw that happen when I had my stock ROM as well. Personally, I would suggest calling CS and reporting it as an issue.

I'll drop a line to a few friends I know in headquarters, who work in that department.

Re: Bluetooth Problems

After having many problems with my bluetooth dropping all the time, I upgraded to Mightyrom 2.6 and that seemed to fix all my bluetooth problems !!
