Sprint Diamond internal memory hotfix on HTC support site (19-NOV-08)

i found this yesterday also and forgot about it. thank for posting, a must have on the diamond. you will need it someday.

I suspect the problem is more widespread than we think - many newbies like me have been experiencing low/out of memory errors because the Diamond sometimes creates a duplicate folder called "Internal Storage" which is actually NOT the real Internal Storage...and the real Internal Storage is "not instlalled" or visible.

So we install files in the duplicate folder called Internal Storage, using up storage memory and causing the low/out of memory issues.

I had the exact same problem after just one day of use.
after i had hard reset-d my diamond, the internal storage was gone from my memory. it said it was not installed. but after i deleted my device from the activesync from the computer and registered it back again with my ActiveSync, by going to settings, connections, and USB to PC and then pressing ActiveSync (Sync with Outlook), my Internal Storage was working again. hope this will help. good luck.

Someone please post the file, it says page error. I had this exact same problem and formatted my drive and internal storage reappeared. But when I install some games and programs it sometimes takes up my memory rather than internal storage.

Yeah I ran into this problem the other day. I just deleted the folder, did a soft reset, and was golden. It has something to do with I think installing an app or something while having USB plugged in.

When I bought my diamond, the fella did a hard reset which causes that. I had seen it so I knew the fix. Every since I've cooked that hot-fix into my rom, and now with the new leaked rom, the issue is fixed.
