Found My TouchFlo 3D Volume Problem.

I assumed I was doing something wrong in the kitchens.
My searching didn't find anything either.

I became suspicious of this yesterday, now I just with I hadn't cooked it in.

Advanced Config

Simply opening the program closing and rebooting will keep the hard volume buttons from working.

Re: Found My TouchFlo 3D Volume Problem.

Back to the drawing board.
I reset, check that the volume worked, did a full backup of the registry with CeRegEditor, to compare, opened Advanced Config, closed and rebooted, Just as before, and it's still working.

Somethings not playing nice.

What is it that you need advanced config for specifically?

Re: Found My TouchFlo 3D Volume Problem.

I use it to check File and Glyph cache sizes, Change SIP auto deploy, Wi-Fi scan, Camera save locations. It's easier to do it all from within the program.

I guess I should be playing in the registry. I'm still trying to figure what happened. I've been changing my settings, adding programs and checking volume in between each one.

More playing- In Diamond Kitchen 3.00 with 20757 v3b it doesn't work on 1st boot. So my earlier idea was correct.

Re: Found My TouchFlo 3D Volume Problem.

I've been having that problem with a clean fressh build using v3 Kitchen, 2.03 OEM and both 20757 and 20934 SYS modules without configuring or installing anything. It isn't apparent upon first boot but do a soft reset and leave it alone for a few minutes and the problem pops up. I spent quite a bit of time troubleshooting this yesterday and friday using the different modules and verifying my registry settings, testing it program install by program install and it was all pretty random. I only noticed that it happened even with a fresh build when I re-flashed with a 20757 based build and my g/f got home so I spent some time with her and left the phone alone after doing a soft reset upon first boot. Came back to the phone and tested it out and the problem reared its head.

I posted about this on the kitchen thread and I think this discussion should be left at the kitchen's thread not a new thread on the regular diamond forum. My $0.02...

Re: Found My TouchFlo 3D Volume Problem.

I bought it up there as well.
I didn't are a response or even your question. In a large these it's easy to lose info.
but this isn't a problem with that kitchen alone. Just that has the problem out of the box on mine at least.

Something Im doing is causing the problem, Im thinking registry.

Re: Found My TouchFlo 3D Volume Problem.

I do speak english although my t9 doesn't.

WOW! This is random. The problem just popped up!.
I did some manual cache changes in the registry last night and sync my stereo headset today. That's it.

WOW SRS Uninstalled, rebooted, and volume works in TouchFlo again.

Anybody else use that?

Re: Found My TouchFlo 3D Volume Problem.

Hmmm, care to share the exact registry key so I can try this out? I just got home and was about to flash again to another cooked rom using V2.03 Kitchen, 20755 SYS and the new 2.03 OEM. That for me would rule out if its the new OEM or the NEW SYS Modules (already tried 20757 and 20934 using v3 kitchen and 2.03 OEM and both had the problem. I already tried using an older OEM with either of the SYS modules and the problem persisted. I may be absolutely wrong (I'm shooting blanks into the air) but I'm guessing its XIP related?

Tobey, got any input or observations regarding this?

EDIT: Gonna post this same reply at the Kitchen thread...
