Frikkin reminders!!!

Alright, either I'm dumb or the phone is! Getting really annoyed at this. This is what happens.

I enter an appointment in my Google Calender, and sync it to the phone via GooSync manually. At times, I enter the appointments in the phone myself.
The dreaded appointment time arrives, so 10 mins before the fact I get reminder. I click on Dismiss. Then, 5 mins.. again. Dismiss. THEN, again time of, DISMISS!!!

How the hell do I make it that the reminder just gets my attention ONCE and if I click on Dismiss, then BEGONE?!

Someone please put me out of my misery.

lol yeah its got so annoying for me I had to turn them off all together.

That's the sad thing, that's the ONLY way I can stop it from ruining my days. But I don't want to, because, well, I need to be reminded.

15F11F90xxxx for reminders.
Options - change to 1073741853

Reset and uncheck reminder option.

I just did it and works great.

Hey, thanks a lot for the help. I haven't tried it yet because I wanted to make sure what the reg edit does?

Does it actually help me using the dismiss button? Or does it simply forget reminding me? Appreciate you taking time to test it.

it allows you to uncheck the "Repet" option so that the reminder only goes off once.
