internal storage is messed up

my internal storage just randomly changed to "internal storage 2" and my original internal storage was moved to my device but only contains 2 files.

does anyone know a way to fix this??

Found it... I am almost positive that I remember someone had the exact problem that you do and there is a working solution, but there are 12 pages and I will let you look through it for your answer

Thanks Rain, I read through up to page 7 and found the solution.

If anyone has this problem, and doesn't want to read through 12 pages. I fixed my phone by going into file explorer and deleting the folder "internal storage" under "my device", but make sure its the one that doesn't have the little memory card icon on the folder (there should be 2).

then restart device and everything should be back to normal
