It is a multi-sz value and should be #777. If it shows anything like ~GPRS or something containing GPRS, change it back to #777 and soft reset.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I have been unable to answer calls for about a month. I thought it was due to a Goodlink update at work, and they said a release was coming out in a month or two that should fix it because my HTC Diamond isn't yet a supported device. But I've used a couple of the "Diamond Tweak" tools and that must be what did it. It is SOOO nice to answer the phone 100% of the time instead of 10% of the time.

FYI, I have always used PHM Regedit. When I edited the setting in PHM regedit, I suddenly was unable to view any registry keys any more in PHM, even after soft rebooting the phone. I could navigate through the tree and select entries, but none of the keys would show up in the bottom window. I installed a new registry editor, and the #777 I typed showed up as #777\n as one user reported seeing. The phone was still malfunctioning, but when I used the new registry editor to set it to #777, all was good!!!

yeah with the #777/n did not work for me on my touch pro, i download an editor where u you use the computer to edit instead of on the device itself set it to only #777 and it worked, if who ever wrote the little program could just make it to just #777 would be best. but thanks a million

Re: Solution on delay answer when data on (no hard reset needed!)

Well, this certainly doesn't seem to have hurt (I used the .cab to make the change) but on my tests browsing while calling from a landline I have the same issue - when in a data session, the phone starts ringing, the answer/ignore screen comes up and yet repeated presses of both that and the hardware "pickup" button do nothing a lot of the time. Any other suggestions?

ETA: OK, I just figured out something that I'll have to repeatedly test. This is kind of maddening but may be the workaround: apparently I have to press the hardware button AND press the "answer" on screen green button simultaneously. Maybe this is actually intentional to prevent data interruption?

ETA again: sigh, it's still flaky. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Anyone else seeing this?

the cab is no good it puts #777/n in the regedit where it needs to be #777

just do it with a registry edit...

You know he fixed it and put up another version, right? Is this still the case? I really don't want to mess with the phone's registry manually if I don't have to.

Re: Solution on delay answer when data on (no hard reset needed!)

yea, the cab has never worked for me. I was going to write up a mortscript for it, but that's when I realized what (I think) the problem is..
MULTI_SZ is for multiple strings. this is a single string so it should be just a REG_SZ.

try this and let me know how it works out.
ftp://ppcgeeks.com/Titan/Users/Shagg...dResume777.cab
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\ConnMgr\Planner\Settings]
"SuspendResume"="#777"

Thanks, so if I install this after having installed the other (Juggalo I think) cab, will that be OK?

Oddly enough I was walking in another part of town tonight and got a call while surfing the web and I was able to pick it up no problem - and got one of those weird #777 messages from Comm Mgr. on the home screen when the call came in...does that mean anything I should know about?

Re: Solution on delay answer when data on (no hard reset needed!)

I downloaded the supposed fixed cab to test it out a few days ago, and had the same thing written to the registry. Oh well, I prefer to do things manually anyways.
