Sprint Data Connection

I just got a Diamond and the Data connection wont disconnect. I turn the data connection off and it automatically starts back up. I have no programs running. Am i missing something!? I installed Gyrator and Dashwire if that helps.

Re: Sprint Data Connection

Nevermind. I am an idiot. Dashwire was set to automatically update. So eventhough it wasnt active it was still causing the phone to connect. *smacks head*

Re: Sprint Data Connection

It's common for your data connection to always be connected, but not always sending/receiving. On my 700WX, this shows up as two greyed out arrows (connected, but no data being transmitted/rec'd) or two white arrows (connected and data being transmitted/rec'd). Not familiar w/ Gyrator, but I do use Dashwire. You can go into Dashwire and set it for manual sync, that way your data connection will not always be active.
