Rev. A disabled as shipped default?

Take a look at this post:

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...2&postcount=79

My Diamond's EPST shows the Rev. A field (under Data Parameters) as "Enable". Does this then imply that Rev. A is disabled by default? I wonder if setting it as "Disable" will boost the EVDO speed...

Re: Rev. A disabled as shipped default?

No. Its enabled by default... The same question was posed with the Mogul. HTC just has Taiwanese programmers that leave off the "d" at the end.

So to clarify, the link I cited in the original post contains incorrect information?

Thanks!

Re: Rev. A disabled as shipped default?

I just did an upload speed test from www.toast.net on my device with both enable and disable. When it shows disable it is NOT rev. a. When it shows enable it is. With disable my upload speed was 100kbps. With enable it was 234kbps. Tests were done with a 428kb file using Internet Explorer Mobile.
