Wifi vs Data Connection

Thsi may be a stupid question....but does anyone else have to turn off their data connection to use their Wifi?? It seemed like whenever I had them both on, it would default to my Evdo connection instead of my wifi...i dunno...

no i never had to, wgat i a interested in is if the backing still gets hot wheb on wifi, via wifi vs radio.
