Couldn't upgrade with TPP

So I have the $7 total protection plan with sprint and just recently lost my Touch (so annoyed by this). Called Asurian hoping to possibly upgrade through the replacement, paying the difference between the touch and the diamond but had no go. Have others managed to get this done?

Also, does anyone have any experience in getting a replacement phone and then returning that to a sprint store for an exchange? They said getting the new phone would give me a new warranty on the new phone, but didn't know if that would also give the 30 day return policy.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Asurion isn't going to let you pay the difference ever. They don't sell phones. They take claims for replacement phones.

Also, no, you can't take your replacement phone in for an exchange. We can tell when you got what phone, and how you got it.

on top of that, they full of new HTC touches and reconditioned ones so until those are depleted, those will be what they send out not the diamond
