Any way to change the "# of message unread" dismissal/reset duration?

When there are unread SMS messages, the SMS icon shows the number of messages unread. When you select the icon, the first message is displayed. It takes two or three seconds for the unread counter to change.

When there are several unread messages, and I read them quickly, I find that I have to stop at each message for a few seconds so the unread count can clear.

Much like Desktop Outlook, I want to be able to configure the amount of time that the unread counter resets once a message is read.

It is likely to be a registry change. Anyone know where?

after a quick search this is the only post found.. anybody figure it out yet?

Haven't found a solution. I switched away from TF3D long ago because it just wasn't as functional as I wanted it to be. That annoyance is now a distant memory.

I used to have to wait for the unread count to reset before moving on and it was a pain.

that sucks... briefly searched the registry with no luck.. but im sure if it was that simple someone would've found it by now..

guess this topic dies now?.. heh
