Lanyard on Sprint Diamond?

How do you put a lanyard such as a Wii Strap onto the sprint diamond? I tried getting it on next to the soft reset button but its just not working out.

Re: Lanyard on Sprint Diamond?

I believe that you put the little end through the hole in the buttom of the cover, then hook it over that little hook next to the reset button

Be careful, I am not positive, but I think what is next to the soft reset is the microphone. I would be careful attaching things to that. As far as a lanyard, check out a silicone or hard plastic cover for the diamond on ebay, they usually come with a hole or attachment for a lanyard.

EDIT: Haha, snap, it is hilarious the things I will say when I didn't pay enough attention, I see what you are talking about and that is not the mic. Sorry... I don't want a lanyard, but here is what will work, run cord thru back cover, take the rubber piece out, put the lanyard string around this plastic piece, replace rubber piece over star screw, and put cover back on. To above poster, I think this is actually why this is here.
