Those errors are not uncommon, I have seen it before, just loook again, or soft reset and look again. It means it is having a hard time reading the information in the alloted time and times out, giving you an error.

If it persists, I suggest a Hard Reset, if it continues, talk to tech or store for a possible exchange.

Hit READ to find your SPC.

For Telus Diamonds I was told GetSPC works if you convert MEID to p-ESN but I haven't tried it myself.

On my Sprint Diamond I used the pESN and the code getspc gave didn't work and it's the same as the one Sprint gave me for manual activation online.

i think sprint may have the one time use ticker attached to there SPC.

once yo use it once you cannot use it again it shuts it off in the Service programming.

if you use QPST and check service programming (if you can get in with spc) you can see the "one time use" setting in there.

I will try this as soon as I get off of work. I'm not familiar with CDMA Workshop or diagnostic mode. Where do I get the workshop and how do I go into diagnostic mode? Thanks!

Re: SPC/MSL code of sprint diamond

just call and ask sprint for your msl. i have used mine more than once that they gave me. just mention that you had to activate your phone a second/third time after hard reseting and you want to just write down the info and put it back in if it gets wiped again.

No, that's illegal. You can pay for the software, or ask your question somewhere else. The cost of the full program is $99 I believe.

As for the MEID I saw that was posted a while ago... at one point the telus roms (and old kitchen) actually set the MEID display to all zeros. If this it what you say, I wouldn't be worried. I believe the newest version of the kitchen, which most chefs are using show most setting including HEX ESN, network username, Hex MEID, MDN and MSID.

I'm pretty sure I put them in the kitchen... if not (can't look at the moment) they should be in the next release.

Thanks a lot. I was finally able to do this, I even changed it to all 0´s so I wouldn´t need to remember them.

Re: SPC/MSL code of sprint diamond

. Find your ESN in hex. If you have it in decimal, use this to convert it. You want the Pseudo ESN Hex number.

2. Download PPST_KeyGen.dll and GetSPC.exe, and then transfer them to your phone.

3. Run GetSPC.exe on your phone.

4. Enter your hex ESN in the Input field.

5. Press Go.

6. Write down your SPC from the Output field.

Re: SPC/MSL code of sprint diamond

I also have a sprint diamond.

the exe did not work for me.

I had to use the registry hack to get it.

that is the only thing that worked.......
