which navigation VGA software for diamond?i
 

i would like to know which vga navigation software work best, i'm using iguidance 4.0 in VGA and looks nice. the turn by turn are great with TTS, i heard good things about IGO8. is anybody using this software with the diamond and how does it works.

please, other recommendation like tomtom, garmin , copilot etc.

I have Garmin Mobile XT. It works both on qvga (touch) and vga (diamond).

I have used Tom Tom, Iguidance, Garmin, Telenav, and iGO8. Hands down iGO8 is the best in the bunch!

are you using USA map with it, does IGO8 has TTS (street names)

Actually, they just released updated USA maps so it is pretty current and it also supports TTS.

According to the Garmin Mobile XT website, they say you can't move the program from the SD card to another device. How did you get it on the Diamond? How do you like the software?

I looked up iGO8, and to buy the software in America, they refer you to www.oncoursenavigator.com, which is the software for On Course Navigator 6. According to their site, they don't allow tranferring of the program from the SD card to another device..... Did you find this to be a problem?

Anyone try Co Pilot 7? Looks like it works on the Diamond. http://www.mobiletechreview.com/phon...ch-Diamond.htm

google is your friend... i purchased Garmin and iGo8 and they're both loaded to my Diamond. iGo8 is (in my opinion) the best of the two.
