Registry value of a CDMA diamond (Telus/Sprint)?

Hi,

In order to make Answerkeys Disabler compatible with CDMA devices such as the Sprint Touch Diamond and the Telus Touch Diamond, I want to ask owners of CDMA devices to look up a value of a registry setting. I'm looking for the value of the following key, if available:

HKLM\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\TOUCH\DriverName

If that key does not exist, can you search for a file called touch.dll in the '\Windows' directory?

Thanks in advance!

That key does not exist on my Sprint Diamond. All I have is CalibrationData and MaxCallError.

Do you have a touch.dll in the \Windows directory?

Hmm okay thanks I guess answerkeys disabler already is compatible for your device then. I have some users that don't have the touch.dll (or core.dll) files..

Re: Registry value of a CDMA diamond (Telus/Sprint)?

Not sure if this is still valuable information to drvdijk, but my Sprint Diamond does not have either. No HKLM\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\TOUCH\DriverName key and no touch.dll anywhere on the device.

Re: Registry value of a CDMA diamond (Telus/Sprint)?

Actually it is. Could any of you lookup the value under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\Touch ?

Thank you!
