diamond caller id picture

does anyone know what the size of the picture id should be to show properly on the people page of the sprint diamond? i have pictures to my contacts already but why is it blurry....

any help would be appreciated.

Wrong resolution it seems. Not sure of the exact dimensions but there is a picture ID mode in the camera, so you could always take new ones I guess.

I hear good things about s2v over on xda. Also if I use outlook to assign pics I get blurry crap too. I think it is just what outlook does to the pic, I am pretty sure it optimizes them, I guess optimize is relative.

Agreed on the blurry pictures from Outlook... I always add them manually on the phone. Then you can use PIMBackup (or another similar app) to backup your contacts and not have to deal with it again in the future.

As for the contact pictures that the Diamond takes, the specs are as follows...

240 x 320 pixels
96 dpi
24 bit depth

I can confirm that this is drastically different and far better quality on the Contacts Tab of TF3D.

All you have to do is reload the contact picture (telling the device which picture to use again), then it'll load up with a higher resolution. It seems that TouchFlo uses the thumbnail version at first instead, hence the pictures being blurry.
