It wont fit... its for the GSM... Battery will fit after a small mod (it doesnt have the groove in it like the CDMA) but you wouldnt have any back plate to cover the phone up!

Still looking for a 1800 or 2000mAh battery myself and out of the 5 I tried yet, none fit my CDMA

WE NEED MORE POWER!!!

Re: CDMA extended battery?

Is it really that bad i thought the larger battery in the cdma versions would help the poor battery life problem. As long as the phone can last an entire day for me i will be happy. I dont use bluetooth/wifi or anything either just some phone use/a good amount of texting/ and a little internet

Re: CDMA extended battery?

Agreed, I would hate to hear what the life is like on the stock GSM Diamond because the battery life is not very good on the CDMA one which has a much larger battery.

As soon as an extended battery is available I think that I am going to go and pick on up.

Re: CDMA extended battery?

I have been running mine for a few weeks already and I have not noticed any increases in battery life. Installing one of the custom rom's helped since they enable a bunch of power saving features. Right now running juicy's custom rom gives me about a days worth of power with the stock battery.
