IGO 8 and the Sprint Diamond

I have a Sprint Diamond with IGO 8 on it. For some reason the GPS constantly connects and disconnects while using IGO 8. It will lock on 10 satellites in a matter of seconds but disconnects about every 10 seconds for a split second and then locks back on. Anyone else experience this?

Re: IGO 8 and the Sprint Diamond

i have it too its not just you. I think this falls into the Diamond "gps lag bug" that occurs on the diamond. Who knows if itll ever be fixed but its very frustrating on such an expensive device.

Re: IGO 8 and the Sprint Diamond

i also use iGo 8 and I think i may have found a fix.. before launching igo, first run google maps and wait for it to find your gps.. then leave google maps running and open igo 8.. this doesn't take hardly any more battery power, and I haven't had my gps cut out yet.. i beleive you can also close google maps after you have started igo 8, but i'm not sure, so give it a try..i haven't done it in awhile.. let me know if it works!

Re: IGO 8 and the Sprint Diamond

I don't have a data plan so that possible fix is a no go for me.

Re: IGO 8 and the Sprint Diamond

use advanced config and make sure agps is turned on. It was off by default on my touch pro. My IG08 version 8.3 works flawlessly
