Tethering with the Sprint Diamond and other registry edits?

I thought I'd post this so I'd be ready when my Diamond arrives. I figure I probably won't get mine for a bit since I didn't order first thing this morning and didn't ask for overnight -they probably have a limited supply since it just started shipping to Sprint but I'll bet I have one within a week.

1. Do you need to edit the registry or anything to enable tethering?

2. Immediate hang up - not sure what the point of the delay on hang up with the Touch was.

3. Disable airplane mode for long hangup.

4. Disable accelerometer - if it has one enabled.

5. Any changes needed for roaming.

If you have a PAM plan, no reg hacks necessary. If not you can try WMWifiRouter, if that doesn't work im sure there are registry hacks.

A matter of choice. I hated on my old phone when it would accidentally go sideways and I'd have to flip it back. If I ever want it to be sideways, I'll click an icon or a button. It is a matter of choice. I'm not saying it should be disabled for everyone - the more options the better but I for one will probably NEVER use my phone sideways so I'd like it disable on mine so I don't have to ever worry about it thinking it is sideways or it getting stuck because the sensor is off or whatever.

Doesn't sprint force you to change your plsn when you get a new smart phone?

No, this was only done for the instinct. Also, simply everything plans are NOT PAM plans, so they will most likely require regedits as well....
