Need some help.

Not sure if anyone even reads this forum anymore. I have an MTS Diamond that I am trying to sell. I originally flashed some version of EnergyRom on it about a year ago. I sold the diamond to a guy who took it into an MTS store to get it hooked up on his plan but he called me back and told me that they could not get it hooked up because it did not have stock software on it. So I refunded him and told him I would flash it back to stock. This is where i run into the problems. First of all I can't find an Mts stock rom, most of the links for roms in the unlocking, locking etc. sticky thread dont work. I managed to get a stock bell rom because I read somewhere that it is the same as the MTS one. Enter error 202, connection error. So i uninstalled active sync and reinstalled it managed to get to bootloader screen. Enter error 262, update error. I have been searching and trying solutions for this error for 3 days now with no progress. I managed to flash a hard spl to the phone, boot loader now says:
DIAM500 MFG
SSPL0.43.CMONEX

This was one of the solutions that I found that people have had success with. After flashing this I attempted to flash the Bell stock rom and received the same 262 error. I then proceed to flash the diamond locker followed by bell stock and 262 error again. I flashed the Diamond unlocker and then bell stock and 262 error again.

I don't know what I am doing wrong here but I have tried every known thing that I have found to reflash this phone to stock but I have no luck. Can anyone shed some light for me, I would be forever indebted. Thanks.

If your phone is properly unlocked, make sure to try a different usb cable. I found that using cheap usb cables sometimes gave me connection errors during rom flashing (even though it connects with activesync). Or alternatively, copy the rom to the Internal Storage and flash from Internal Storage - search for instructions on this forum. Good Luck.

And maybe you could try a different computer too.

Here is a fixed link to the MTS Rom. All of the links on that page need to be updated to "ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com".
