Unhappy Unable to set alarm

I have had problems with my alarm recently in that I was unable to switch off the alarm as I have done in the past. The only way I could turn it off was to shut down my phone. Now my alarm wont set at all. I set it as usual and when I click ok it just keeps telling me the alarm is off. Any help will be appreciated thanks. Also is there any way I can do something about the volume on the phone - even set at max its pretty poor. All other phones I have had (mainly Samsung) have been far superior when it comes to ringtones and volume. again thanks for any help. is there anyone out there who can help me please

Re: Unable to set alarm

Since I had this alarm problem too, I use Klaxon (sorry, don't have a link, but Google may help you. I mean that Klaxon works better then the HTC-alarm.

To increase the volume I suggest to try out the attached file (unzip it and put into the windows-folder on your device, than softreset)

Good luck

Kinda sounds like it might be time for a hard reset.
