Download, install, and use EveryWAN software to access your data on your device using your pc here:
http://www.sparus-software.com/sparu...e98YH&direct=1

Your contacts are located in the pim.vol file.

Good luck!

Hmm...
Well, sounds like it is in disk drive mode. I would say open activesync and disable disk drive mode so it will sync with activesync. But if the screen doesn't work....hmm.
When it is turned on and you connect it to your pc does the usb to pc popup show on the screen?

You could also try to use mymobiler instead of EveryWAN. Maybe it would be easier.

Here's mymobiler:

Re: Retrieving Contacts Off a Broken HTC Diamond

Does the screen or keys light up when you plug in to usb port? Even if you think screen isn't coming on, if you hold in dark area, the screen may actually come on and be black light (color black, not back lit). Do you remember where the answer key or decline key are? Call the phone and see if it will let you answer by touching the screen where you recall the button to be. Then try to remember where the activesync key is when the popup comes on when connected to pc and see if you can force into activesync. If you can, then you should be able to find the pim file using my mobiler. then copy past to internal storage.

If you plan to get a replacement device, then carrier should be able to pull contacts and apply to new phone.
