Stupid Newbie question ...
 

Hi Folks,

I have a CDMA Touch Diamond. I messed with the registry trying to get the New text message to repeat the alert and now I can't get it to work at all. I wanted to reflash the ORIGINAL Bell rom for my phone, but I lost my copy and I can not find it anywhere. I spent two days seaching for it, and by now I decided that I am blind and jsut do not see it anymore.

Can a kind soul please point me to the original file ?

I found the Bell rom here, had too look longer.

But, I believe I need the WM 6.1 and not the Bell rom, is what I am thinking now. What do you guys think ?

Ok obviously the rom contains the OS :) Where the heck is the RUU for Bell ? I would really appreciate some help on this so that I can get my phone back to normalish :)

It won't load :( starts and gives an comm. error.

make sure your phone is in active sync mode

Just do a clear storage/ hard reset.
That's probably all you need to do. :)

I see orphaned registry entries :( No idea how that happened. The phone is in active sync mode as well when I tried to update it. Sigh .. I am fighting with HTC right now to make the original ROM for BELL available again .... I am about to throw the phone away to be honest :(
