New LCD Screen Problems
 

Hi all,

I just replaced the LCD and Digitizer on my Diamond, and I've been having a few problems; I can't seem to figure out how to fix it.

The screen works fine, but when the device sleeps, and I press a key to wake it, the backlight shows up and the DPad lights up, but no image appears - it's just black. I know it functions because when I tap the screen to the dialer, I can hear the dialing tones.

Also, the reawaken from sleep works fine in XDAndroid, and the image appears too. I reflashed to a stock rom, and it also works in the stock. It just seems to not work in any custom roms.

I've tried multiple soft and hard resets to no avail - does anybody have any experience with this?

I suggest you get a hold of the original shipped rom for T-Mobile and flash it and see if it works correctly. Then flash a custom rom if you like. Remember, always flash gsm roms because t-mobile is gsm. ;)

It sounds like the connector may be loose.
