Stuck Text Message..?

I have an indicator specifying that I have a new text that I can't get rid of. Have tried clearing deleted, as well as all text messages. Also powered it off and removed the battery as well. Is there a solution that doesn't involve a hard reset?

click on all messages and the on the top corner click the drop down next to the word inbox and make sure that new message isnt in your outlook email instead or some other folder

You could use an app like sktools to clear out anything that may be lingering and then clear the notification que. :dontknow:
