Would it be an upgrade going from the 6800 to the diamond ?
I am too broke and rather keep my sero plan to go for tp2 so this would be my next option.

Kind of depends on what's important to you. The screen is a definite improvement with VGA, it's a smaller form factor, and usable memory is a plus. You will be giving up the hard keyboard, and the memory card. I've been using my Diamond for about 18 months, and it's been my most dependable phone yet.

Jaidon, I had my vogue replaced with a Diamond. I have liked it. The only issue I have seen with it is the Battery, I have no issues charging the device but it takes some getting used to. Hope this helps.

I'll echo both users before me. They are both correct. It has some definite upgrades like the screen and g-sensor but battery life can be an issue. I say do it. ;)

Ok, thanks guys. I see a bunch of these on the Craigslist now. What should be a decent price for one? The average around 130.

Looking at completed auctions on ebay it looks like the going rate is 80-130 depending on condition and other accessories included with the phone.

I bought one about 2 months ago for $125 which was pretty much in new condition. I think prices have dropped a bit since then.

I will add that I moved from a Touch Pro to the diamond and I really love the diamond. It's very pocketable, feels very durable and surprisingly, I get better battery life then I did with my TP (which is weird since the TP has a larger battery, the same screen and processor... go figure). I thought I would miss the physical keyboard more than I do but it hasn't been a problem.

Since this seems to have been answered, it's time to go ahead and close it...
