Re: Stalls on splash screen even after hard/soft resets
Put it into bootloader (take battery out and then replace, hold volume down and press power button). This should take you to the tri-color screen. Attach usb to computer, and flash back to shipped/stock rom. Reflash to custom rom of choice.
PS ... you're in the Diamond forum.

Re: Stalls on splash screen even after hard/soft resets
it is on a diamond I'm having this problem.
I had pulled up the rainbow screen and flashed it back to stock but now its just the STOCK splashscreen its stuck on. I'm going to download another ROM and try another one but the stock one at least shoudl work |

Re: Stalls on splash screen even after hard/soft resets
Sorry to hear that ... sounds like there may be a hardware issue/problem. On the odd chance ... did you try d/l the "shipped" rom another time, just in case the d/l got corrupted?

Re: Stalls on splash screen even after hard/soft resets
I've downloaded like 10 different roms and cooked a couple myself. I even ran the relocker and unlocker and trying everything I can even find. I did earlier today join the open enrollment for insurance with sprint but uhh is there a time delay before I can use the insurance? Literally applied for insurance hours before this issue cropped up on me.
My wifes touch pro colors are going out too and of course she got into the insurance enrollment too. |

Man, I feel for you ... that's just crazy. There's only one other long shot that I can think of, and that would be to format your internal storage. Then you could try flashing back to a fresh "shipped", one more time.

Re: Stalls on splash screen even after hard/soft resets
There's also ... Triggered Bootloader = VolumeDown + BackArrow + PowerButton
Triggered Bootloader is what you use when you want to flash a rom from the internal storage. You just take a RUU_Signed.nbh and rename it DIAMIMG.nbh and place it on the root of your internal storage folder. This will work even if your usb cable might be faulty.
