Data Woes

Ok, so, a couple of days ago my wifes diamond stopped recieving data, error 67 vision login or password might be wrong. I called sprint, they walked me through ##DATA# restore and update profile all to no avail. I was sent up to advanced tech support, they had no luck and said I would have to call back today. I have Mighty Rom 4 on the phone and never had any problems in the past.
Any suggestions on how to proceed?

Am I going to have to hard reset, I really abhor that idea.

Re: Data Woes

I suggest you download and install this:

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/attachment...4&d=1252441764

That should give you the Update PRL and Update Profile icons in Settings. Soft Reset. Then from the Start Menu go to Settings and select the System tab. Then scroll down to Update Profile and click on it to run it.
Then do the same for Update PRL. If that does not work I am afraid you may have to flash back to the shipped sprint rom and Update Profile and PRL then if you still want to run MightyRom re-flash back to it. Obviously, flashing will require a hard reset. ;) Good Luck!!

FYI: Credit for that attachment goes to rileyd5 :thumbleft: Don't forget to thank him!

Re: Data Woes

In my experience, if you flash a new ROM before a phone has fully registered and pulled all the settings for data from Sprint, flashing a new ROM will cause this kind of problem.

I had it happen when I got a replacement device and immediately flashed a new ROM. If all else fails, this should fix it:

1. Flash stock ROM
2. Hard Reset
3. Go through all the customizations and make sure the phone activates
4. Verify data and phone working (If not, use the update profile and update PRL)
5. Flash custom ROM of your choosing
6. Hard Reset
7. Enjoy! :)
