Vibrate no more?!

Has any one ever had their diamond stop vibrating?

I use TRUXT rom and was messing around with Android and one day the vibrate on every application and incoming phone calls stopped. Tried soft and hard resets... nothing.

Usually when the phone boots up it vibrates, but even that stopped.

Could this be a hardware failure? Any ideas on what I could try to fix it?

I have been through 3 diamonds for burned out vibrate motors....unfortunately this is a common problem

Agreed. I went through 3 Diamonds because of this too. I think there must have been a couple batches that went out w/ weak motors and board issues.

My first Diamond - just over a month and it went out. Sprint tech reps tried replacing the Vibrate motor, but it made no different

Second - Made it 3 weeks

Third - Still going strong since July. It's sitting in a drawer now, as I moved to BlackBerry for a while.

I had my vibrator burn out just after my warranty expired. Didn't have insurance and was SOL. Moved to a Touch Pro.
