After a year of romming Flash back to Stock and it seems better

So.. I bought a Sprint Diamond about a year ago. I bought it used from someone who had it for 2 months. It came with MightyRom 3.8 on it. When I got it.. I flashed back to Stock and immediately flashed to Mightyrom 4.

I used it that way for 3-4 months. It was pretty great although I had some minor issues with Opera and Youtube.

Fast forward to now. I've used a bunch of different Roms. OMJ, Mystery, Mighty 6, Mystery and back to OMJ's latest..... They were all cool, but all had their own little issues and idiosyncrasies... I really just wanted a rom where everything worked without bugs or funkiness...

So I tried the latest Sprint Stock rom. It doesn't have a lot of the nicer gui features of the latest 6.5 and 6.5.3 roms, but it works. Everything seems to work. I'm wondering why I didn't just stick with this from the start.... Maybe the adventurous side of me.

Is there another rom out there that is as stable, where everything works on the Sprint network? I'm thinking I may just stick with Stock now.....

Do you have any info about your ROM? Is it posted on the rom part of the forums?

Re: After a year of romming Flash back to Stock and it seems better

It's a 21055 build with 2.1 manila. More of a lite version including the basics without all the bloat of a stock rom. I don't generally release my work, but have on occasion. If you're not interested ... no problem. I updated and added a different clock over the weekend ... here's a new link along with the cab folder.
