Data connection shuts off itself

Hey guys I noticed my Diamonds data connection turns offs randomly under the comm manager, I want it always on, is that normal?

No that shouldn't be the case. Is your rom stock or did you install a custom rom? Maybe try updating the data profile. Start>Settings>System>Update profile. soft reset and see if it fixes this. Good luck.

Yea I used multiple custom roms with same results, Ill try the update profile, thanks.

I wish mine would shut off sometimes...mine has been on 32 hours and counting.

Continuously? If so something is wrong, Im just talking about the data tab in the Comm Manager, mines turns off randomly.

Yeah continuously but nothing is wrong (sort of)...it's not actively downloading anything.

Anyways, isn't it meant to turn off automatically and turn itself back on when time to download email or when you check weather or go to the net stuff like that. So is the problem that yours is not turning back on?

oh I see you have omj's rom, yea the arrows are broken on his new rom because of the new dialer being used, yea I have to turn it back on manually, Its working fine now, hopefully it stays like that.
