Modifying stock Bell ROM

Good Evening,

My apologies if this has been asked before, I tried a quick search and couldn't find an answer.

First, I have a Bell CDMA Touch Diamond running the stock rom...

It is my understanding through extensive searching that the FM Radio cannot be installed on this Stock Rom, but can only be achieved via a cooked rom.

Now, I have tried several cooked Roms, however I couldn't find any of them to suit my needs as well as the Stock Rom does. I know, call me crazy. I was pleased to see that the FM Radio did work on my Diamond with these cooked roms however.

My question is - Is there any way to modify the Stock Rom? I mean Keep everything original, add the FM Radio, then cook it?

Really what I need to know is, is it as simple as opening the stock rom in some sort of kitchen, adding the FM Radio, then cooking it?

Thats my main priority... I'd also like to get rid of the Stock version of Opera and input the newest one, but I'm guessing that will cause bugs or problems, so the FM Radio is really what I'm after.

Any ideas?

I'm actually sortof interested in this myself. If you have success I'd be interested in hearing what tools you used and how you managed ..
