Story of a recovered stolen phone

So I just read this blog http://iphonetheif.blogspot.com/2010...heif-bust.html

I know it's an iPhone, but I was wondering if we Diamond users can do anything similar?
Do we have something like MobileMe to track our phones in the situation that it gets lost of stolen?

Re: Story of a recovered stolen phone

Is that google latitude?
Or is there actually 'google phone tracker'?

Also, do you have to have the GPS running at all times for it to work properly, or can you turn the GPS on remotely?

i use MS Myphone. Every time it syncs, it includes your latest location.
